1) My son's Mac has developed a fault.
On boot up the screen is not displaying properly, with lines appearing across the screen and the picture is blurred.
It looks like the graphics card gone faulty. Can you please give me an idea of what costs are involced in getting it repaired.
2) I need my logic board replaced. Could you give me an idea of how much this would cost?
3) My daughter's ibook g4 has an unspecified problem and we would like to know if it worth repairing. There is also data on the hard drive which is invaluable so that needs recovering if the machine is completely u/s if possible. There is no power pack and we have been using a friend's power to keep the machine running. It will not hold charge.
4) The desktop looks reasonably OK though some of the icons are pixellated. Word seems OK.
E mail and internet are impossible - red background. Same with iPhotos.
Is this a terminal problem?
5) Today my trusty old Mac would not switch on from either flat LCD or power button on the tower. The leads and plugs are fine so I suspect a power failure within the tower.
Can I drop it in for you to assess and hopefully repair? How long would this take (to assess)?
6) do you have acees to any 2nd hand apple laptops not to concerned anbout age
7) I'd like to get my Mac Book Screen fixed as soon as possible, It has a huge crack in it where I've sat on it!
